Crestwood Prestige 16u vs. Crown Point Bulldogs (Scott)

Yesterday, July 2 the Crestwood Prestige 16u took on the Crown Point Bulldogs (Scott).  The Bulldogs showed an aggressive approach at the plate, as they had 11 hits in the game. Prestige could not put anything together offensively as they would lose 12-0.

In the first inning, Crown Point would start the inning out with back to back singles from Theresa Snaidauf and Gianna Fantin. The bases would be loaded after Darcy Barkauskas walked. They would then score two runs after taking advantage of a defensive mishap. Kayla Burright would add two more runs with a single to left. The Bulldogs would add on four more runs in the inning, coming from an RBI single from B Lee and a 3 RBI double from Theresa Snaidauf.

Crown Point would add another run in the second inning. E Smiser singled to make the score 9-0.

Prestige was not able to string anything together against the Bulldogs pitcher, Kayla Burright. In the circle, Burright went 3 innings allowing only 2 hits and 0 runs.

In the third, Morgan Scott led the inning off with a double. A few batters later, Theresa Snaidauf would score Scott increasing the lead to 10-0. The game would end on a Katie Kucharski single to left that scored two runs, putting the run rule into effect.
